Role Purpose :
To oversee, lead and direct the development of families’, children’s and young people’s work with particular responsibility for the discipling, pastoring and nurturing of young people.
This is an exciting pioneering leadership role where you will be at the forefront of the work helping to identify needs within the church and community to establish Christian links with families and young people and join in the deepening of our progressive expressions of worship and church.
Main Tasks
-To oversee, support and help facilitate the young people’s and families’ work provision at Christ Church directing the development of this work through the Young People and Families Working Group
-To lead and develop our youth ministry with emphasis on the discipleship, nurture and pastoral development of young people.
-To oversee the formation, nurturing and development of lay teams ensuring that volunteer helpers are properly supported, trained and encouraged.
-To work with the Ministry Leadership Team, Young People and Families Working Group and volunteers to develop programmes that encourage relationships and links between the Church and families in the Parish.
